Design is my career, but also my passion. As my career of more than 25 years, it is a business I conduct with all the organization, efficency and devotion to detail those years of practice have perfected. As my passion, it is an art, pursued in collaboration with each of my clients to provide them with a home environment which meets their needs of function, expresses their tastes and interests and is the most beautiful space that I know how to create within their parameters.
The scope of my projects has ranged from complete rebuilds, including all exterior and interior design, complete with pool and landscape, to the design and fabrication of a single special nursery rocking chair for a new mother. In all my projects, I am not only the creative designer, but also my clients' agent, serving as project manager to ensure that all the details of bringing the design to completion are handled with the minimum of stress. As such, I handle all the various contractors, from framers and plumbers to flooring installers, cabinet makers and painters.
Each project is a challenge whose rewards are not only the tangible result of a beautiful home, but the pleasure my clients have taken in what we create.
